Message: Mary Ellen and Kathy,my earliest memory of your mom was when I was four and she came over to get Laurie and me the morning our baby sister died. I echo the tributes the others posted before me but I just want to add what a "cozy" feeling I get when I think back to those days having you guys, the Wickers, Kacinskis and Cavanaghs as neighbors. When we were young, it seemed like it would last forever. My sisters are on Facebook if you ever want to reminisce.

It was so nice to grow up across the street from such a wonderful lady. So many good memories of her visits to our house all those years. May she rest in peace.

Message: So many dear memories of Mrs. McFadden; she was a sweet Rosser Avenue neighbor, as well as a great friend to my mom, Dolly. For my entire life I've thought of her every time I see, or hear about, coffee ice cream--she always seemed to have some for me every time I would pop over; she always seemed to have books to give me, as well --a very dear memory of my childhood. I pray she is with all that have gone before her and has missed. I'm sure the reunion is amazing!
