Margaret M. Forte, age 79, of Middle Village, New York passed away at NYU Hospital on July 26, 2015.
Margaret was born on November 19, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York.

Margaret married the love of her life, John J. Forte, in 1956. The couple settled in Middle Village, New York in the early 1960's, where they raised their six daughters; Mary, Regina, Kelly, Susan, Joan, and Ethel.

Margaret was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to be a "Nanny" to her 13 grandchildren; Michael (Kristin), John Joseph, Patrick, Jenna, Alexandra, Susan, Gary Jr., John, Margaret, Jack, Julia, Johnny, and Joseph. Dear sister of Francis and the late Catherine. Devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews. Margaret loved holidays and family get togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She would spend hours cooking and preparing for her company.

Margaret was known for her warmth, style, and sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
